Good Kid Coffee is Tim and Lisa's specialty coffee bar and bagel shop on McCallum Road in Abbotsford. Great coffee, bread worth queuing for, and a room where nobody minds if you stay a while.
Our story
Good Kid is Tim and Lisa's shop. They started it with a simple idea: Abbotsford deserved a cafe that took coffee as seriously as any shop in Vancouver, without any of the attitude that usually comes with it.
That meant buying from roasters we genuinely admire rather than roasting for the sake of it, learning to make bagels properly, and putting real syrups and real ingredients behind the counter. It also meant building a room people actually want to sit in — big windows, good light, a patio for the two weeks a year the Fraser Valley allows it.
The name is a nod to doing things the good way, even when the shortcut is right there. That's the whole philosophy: be a good kid about it.
